I started to learn how to throw in autumn 2021. My cloest friend from school had asked if I could throw a dinner set for her and my cocky arse said yes. At the time I dunno what I was thinking, it was a huge challenge to create a set of 4 dinner plates, side plates and bowls for my skill level. I’m not ashamed to say it took me a really long time to finish this project, LOTS of cracks, glaze f*ck ups and general misproportions, but this sky rocketed my skills at the wheel. It can be really challenging when you’re working a full time job and trying to improve your skills, so I’m really proud of myself for pulling this off. It took a long time, but we got there in the end.
