My journey with clay started in 2021, and it’s grown steadily through a lot of practice, mistakes and small breakthroughs. In 2024, I spent a month in rural Japan studying ceramics and learning to make kyusu teapots. Being in the countryside, surrounded by studios, kilns and craft traditions, gave me a deeper appreciation for process, patience and the cultural roots behind everyday objects.

you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work,
realize it is play.”
