About
My name is Rhiannon, I’m a potter from Cornwall UK, based in Zürich Switzerland. I work mostly in stoneware, focusing on simple forms, quiet colours and pieces meant to be used every day. My practice is shaped by a mix of travel, cultural influences and the joy of learning through making.

My journey with clay started in 2021, and it’s grown steadily through a lot of practice, mistakes and small breakthroughs. In 2024, I spent a month in rural Japan studying ceramics and learning to make kyusu teapots. Being in the countryside, surrounded by studios, kilns and craft traditions, gave me a deeper appreciation for process, patience and the cultural roots behind everyday objects.

“This is the real secret of life -- to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.”
